DAY SCHOOL
Each of our students gets one on one attention from American-qualified Registered Behaviour Technicians (RBT) and International Behaviour Therapists (IBT). Every student will have an Individualised Education Plan (IEP) based on parental aspirations and the child’s areas of strengths and weakness, targeting a wide range of areas including, academic, independent living, sensory integration, compliance, social, and psychological well-being. Day school runs from 9.30 am to 2.30 pm.
AFTER SCHOOL CLASSES
This programme is designed for children who require minimal support and those waiting until space becomes available in day school. Each student will get one-to-one attention from American-qualified Registered Behaviour Technicians (RBT) and International Behaviour Therapists (IBT). Students will have an Individualised Education Plan (IEP) based on parental aspirations and the child’s areas of strengths and weakness, targeting a wide range of areas including, academic, independent living, sensory integration, compliance, social, and psychological well being. Classes are conducted from 3 - 5 pm.
CONSULTATIONS
Get a one-to-one consultation with Dr Anton James in areas such as developing an Individualised Education Plan (IEP), behaviour management, sensory integration, challenges faced at mainstream school, issues in social integration, research consultation, addressing parental concerns, and providing solutions to children’s behaviour at school and home.
ASSESSMENTS
ASD - ADHD - Auditory Processing Disorder - Sensory Integration - Intelligence Assessment - General Development-Educational Assessment - Speech & Language Assessment
We are offering a wide range of assessments. The following are available right now:
ASD A comprehensive ASD diagnosis using a wide range of standardised and non standardised tests such as CASD-SF, GARS 3, DSM 5 TR, ADI –R. A variety of tests are used in triangulation to ensure accuracy in diagnosis. Duration – approximately 3 hours. A comprehensive report is provided. Screening for children under the age of 2 and diagnosis for children over the age of 2. ADHD A compressive ADHD diagnosis using standardised tests such as Conners Scale which is consistent with DSM 5. Supplementary test for Executive Function assessment using Brown Scale. Test of Everyday Attention for Children (TEA –CH2) and Nonverbal Stroop Card Sorting Test (NSCST). Diagnosis for children over the age of 6 and screening for children under the age of 6. ​ ​ Auditory Processing Disorder (APD) APD is comorbid with ASD and ADHD and it is often an underdiagnosed condition in Sri Lanka. APD is diagnosed using standardised assessment for children and adults using SCAN. This test is only available for native English speakers (Screening is available for non-native speakers) Sensory Integration A wide range of standardised instruments such as Sensory Profile 2, Sensory Profile – Adult, Sensory Processing Measure (SPM), and Spiral Foundation ​ ​​Intelligence Assessment Children with special needs are often disadvantaged by verbal intelligence tests. At The Tree House International, we provide a wide range of standardised nonverbal intelligence tests: Universal Nonverbal Intelligence Test 2 (UINT 2), Raven 2, Wechsler Nonverbal Scale of Ability General Development The child’s development is assessed based on areas of deficit and strengths using Social Skills Improvement System (SSIS), Developmental Profile 4, Behaviour Assessment System for Children 3 (BASC 3), Vineland - 3 Educational Assessment Standardised tests such as Wide Range Achievement Test – 5 (WRAT 5) and The Dyslexia Screening Test (DST).
INTERNATIONAL BEHAVIOUR THERAPIST® (IBT) TRAINING
Pave your way to an International Behaviour Therapist® ( IBT), an internationally recognised qualification in Applied Behaviour Analysis.
The Tree House International is the only institution in Sri Lanka which is authorised as an Approved Training Provider for IBT®.
The IBT® is an accomplishment that shows the world that the individual is a competent behavior therapist and ready to provide effective, ethical, behavioral services in homes, schools, and a variety of community settings.

WORKSHOPS & WEBINARS
Parents need help to be better able to respond to their child’s behavioral challenges in a way that supports learning emotional regulation skills and addresses the well-being of the child and family.” At the workshops you’ll be supported by experienced Chartered Psychologist and Behaviour Analysts and provided with practical tools and resources to take home.
Our courses and training will cover a variety of subjects and offer foundational skills training for  topics as behaviour management, sensory integration, picky eating, Pica, compliance, language and communication, reinforcement, self-help & learning-how-to-learn skills and more. Most importantly, you will find hope and learn that you are not alone in this journey.
