RBT® Programme
The Tree House International trains and equips individuals seeking an American qualification known as ‘Registered Behaviour Technician’ (RBT®).

RBT® is a paraprofessional responsible for the direct implementation of behaviour-analytic services. RBT® usually work for children with developmental disorders, organisational behaviour management, child welfare, brain injury rehab, behavioural gerontology and other related fields.
In the context of children with special needs, the RBT® is responsible for teaching the curricular and taking data on the progress.

The RBT® Ethics Code describes the ethical requirements for both RBT® and RBT® applicants. All RBT® and RBT® applicants must agree to abide by this code.

RBT® specialises in a specific psychological technique called Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA). ABA is best known for its success in autism and other neurodevelopmental disorders.

It is widely recognised by the U.S. Surgeon General, the American Academy of Paediatrics, the National Institute of Mental Health, the Psychological Society of Ireland, the National Health Service (UK), and the Australian Psychological Society.

RBT® work in a vast variety of areas, such as children with neurodevelopmental disorders. However, they can choose to work in any area including residential care, old age care, rehabilitation, addition, hospitals, large organisations etc. The need for RBT® is increasing in the US, Canada, Europe and Australia.

The BACB® currently accepts certification applications from individuals regardless of their country of residence. Effective January 1, 2023, only individuals who reside in the U.S, Canada, and the United Kingdom may apply for BACB® certification.

Anyone holding RBT® certification from outside of the U.S, Canada, and the United Kingdom after this date will still be able to maintain their certification. Therefore, if you wish to become an RBT®, this is the right time to apply for the
